Tynedale play an active part in North East athletics and we take part in the following events at a team: North East harrier League, Northumberland Sportshall Athletics Competition and the National Young Athletes League.
Athletes are encouraged to tke part in many open meetings and county, regional and national championships if they so wish.
We are proud of our tradition and we have a thriving junior section. The junior section of the club has produced many fine athletes including current GB Internationals Nick McCormick and Stacey Smith.
We hope you will support the juniors and inparticular, we hope to attract more parents into the club. If you are interested in helping as a coach (or assistant), race marshall, track or field official (e.g. timekeeper), please dont hesitate in contacting the club.
We often have a waiting list for juniors, get in touch via the contact us page if you have a junior wanting to take part. We can offer up to three sessions for juniors to have a go before they join up as members where they will be expected to attend training regularly and join in competitions.
