Six of our Junior athletes travelled down to Blackburn, on Saturday 14th March, to represent Northumberland in this years English Schools Cross Country Championships.
In the Junior Boys Alex Wood got the highest placing of the day finishing in 42nd place. In their first year at Intermediate Boys Max Pearson finished 66th and Christopher Jackson 284th. Sean Wylie competed in the Senior Boys finishing in 277th place.
In the Junior Girls Ellen Ricketts finished 95th and in the Intermediate Girls Hannah Pinkney was 151st.
All the athletes thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, the course and the atmosphere.
